This week fromaparrottsnest – my mind has been scattered and spirit has had me down for the count flying low and running slow for a good portion of this week. But, I got the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant feeling happily quiet 51st birthday at home, and I’m grateful for that.

The weather here has also cooled down such that we have been able to leave the windows open and enjoy a few sights and sounds from nature here in our treehouse. We enjoy the saturated fall blue skies, warm sunshine, fresh air and songs from the crows and other birds the best. I keep asking the crows if they’ll take us back to the more wheelchair accessible neighborhood and town we used to live in, but they have yet to take me up on my offer.

In other news…

Paul, my husband, is continuing to hold his own after having lost his last telephone information specialist job about a year ago. For a legally blind man who loves technology and revels in accessible challenges, he’s doing as well as can be expected. He spends most of his time watching baseball and court shows, helping me with the occasional honey-do, contributing to his facebook groups, and has found renewed hope in the simple act of making it a point to wash up with his new manly man wipes every day. Even so, we are still looking for accessible, meaningful work opportunities for him. So if you or someone you know are interested in building a small to medium sized internet radio station, feel free to visit Paul’s website to schedule an appointment for a consultation. He also does consults on cell phone and TV streaming service plans too.

Moving on…

I didn’t feel up to doing any work in my Zazzle shop or reading much this week. But I did learn about the sweet history of mobile home parks, and I also found these super cute snail cowboys on The Snail Hospital page on Instagram.

I also learned about the Tradwives movement, and read this article from Good News Network about 20 things that make us feel good.

Until next time I’ll leave you with a feel good quote from a lot of people’s favorite bear – “Today is my new favorite day.” ~ Winnie The Pooh

Enjoy a sweet week! 👍🥰👍
